Supporting the Mothers of Gaza

The mothers of Gaza bear the unimaginable burden of raising their children amid destruction, loss, and daily struggles for survival. Many of these mothers have lost their husbands and now care for their children alone, fighting to keep them safe, fed, and educated despite the ongoing crisis. By supporting orphans, we are directly supporting these mothers—providing them with food, shelter, and resources to ensure their children’s survival. A mother should never have to choose between feeding her child and finding medical care. Your donations help ease their suffering, giving them hope and strength to carry on. Stand with them, support them, and give them a chance at a dignified life.

Stand With the Innocent Caught in the Palestine Crossfire

This campaign is dedicated to fundraising on behalf of Human Concern International, a registered charity in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. All collected funds will be directed towards this charity’s vital work.

Noor El Hoda

Noor, the mother of Mayar, was told by the doctors that her daughter Mayar must would have to amputate her leg due to a blast injury in Gaza. Doctors in the US and Gaza gave this recommendation, but she refused. HCI heard about this case and decided to try to save her leg in Egypt. Mayar was removed from the rubble and is the only sibling left. Her brother, Hassan, was martyred during the blast, in Gaza, where Mayar also almost lost her leg. Mayar awaits her second surgery now in Egypt to treat her knee.

Noor, the mother of Mayar, is responsible for her daughter and her family back home in Gaza. With the support of the donors, Mayar will be able to have her next surgery covered and her mother Noor will be provided the financial, psychological, and emotional support so that she can take care of herself and her family.

Zahra

Zahra, a mother of two daughters, Maysa and Misk, recently lost her husband, who was martyred in Gaza. His body remained missing for 30 days before it was finally recovered. When rescuers pulled Zahra from the rubble, she was severely injured. Her critical condition allowed her to be evacuated from Gaza to Egypt for urgent medical treatment. She remained in a coma for a month before finally receiving the care she needed. She will be supported with your donations.
